Default Ram 1500 20x12? HELP

Does anyone know if I can run a 20x12 wheel on a 6 in lift or with a 6in suspension and 3 in body? Im looking at the fuel octane and hostage. And what about back spacing?

we have to know what kit you have? 2wd or 4wd? also the backspacing and offset of the rim.

alot of the aftermarket spindles allow for about the same as stock ones

I do not see why you wouldn't be able to fit a rim on the truck. the only thing you would ever have to worry about is with a lift kit the knuckles are modified so a certain backspacing is needed. The other thing is when you are going that high I would imagine you want to go with a wide tire so a negative offset wheel would be a good choice. I tried to find a 20x12 wheel that has the bolt pattern on 5x5.5 and it is tough. Did you find some yet?

I would not recommend a 12" wide wheel on a half ton. I had them on my 2nd gen and it really reeks havoc on the ball joints, wheel bearings and steering components... and I'm sure the solid axle stuff is slightly more robust than the IFS to boot. Not too mention, with 9" of lift I'm sure you will be running at least a 37" tire... recipe for disaster on a half ton.

The off set is -44 and back spacing is 4.75. Fuel makes 2 types of wheels and xd has one. Is it possible to fit them with just a leveling kit? I have an 07 1500 4x4 and I have stock 20s right now with 305 /55r20 nittos.

I'm looking at a zone offroad 6 in lift and it says 4.5 backspacing. So would the 4.75 work?

Im running 20x12.5 with 20x13.5 tires on a 6inch rough country lift. no rubbing issues. turning kind of sucks because of the knuckles being a little thick and hitting the lower control arms, but tires still have clearance

My wires are 12.5 and Im about 1/4" away from the top of my spindle so either you have some rim spacers or your rim offset is way different than mine.....lol

But on a better note, I was outside yesterday under the truck with the grinder and was massaging the LCAs to get more clearance on my turns. I called RC about this some time back and was told very few people noticed it.

REALLY? How could you NOT notice it?

If I remember correctly they are 4.5 bs. but the distance from from your tire to spindle is about the same as mine.
