are you sure your tcase isn't engaged in 4wd? are your brakes grabbing for some reason?

having the truck unweighted is going to extend your front suspension more dramatically than at any other time.. if your shocks are crazy long (and topping out with the truck unweighted in the front), I could see them allowing the suspension to move the wheel to a point the angle becomes impossible to overcome, and locking the wheels- but man, we're talking 50 degrees+ on those cv's..

at what angle do you think the cv's are from the hub to the axle?

He doesn't have that option because he doesn't have torsion bars. Torsion bars/keys are a '02-'05 1500 4x4 thing. He has coil-overs...

hey bud

i had the smae problem on my 07 the rough country kits are junk.... it has to do with the angle of the top of the strut to the top of the shock mount. When you put that spacer in there its causing that bind in the cv's

i recomend going with the rize leveling kit its a 3" i think.. i have one on my truck and love it... i got it from topguncustomz like a year ago

3" of level puts those CVs at a pretty big angle. Keep an eye on the boot, they like to tear when they are stretched like that and let all kinds of stuff in that will cause the CV to fail. Give them a good visual inspection every time you change the oil...

Well what if you lower the truck to the ground and cause the CV angle to lessen?
