Default engine idle

I am a first timer on this forum, I am having an issue with my o5 4.7 ram, each year when the weather starts to warm up, I get an engine idle surge either at a stop or in park, the surge is constant up and down until I tap the gas slightly then it stops until I drive and when I stop again its back. I have cleaned the throddle body and installed a k&n air filter thinking its not breathing well enough. This problem only happens in the spring summer fall, never in the winter. I have no issues with the truck stalling, excelleration, or sluggish, in fact it tows my boat well. any suggestions?

You could start by cleaning the TB or changing the EGR valve.

Welcome to the site. Again, check vacuum lines (free), clean the back of the TB ($5), replace the EGR ($40)
