Default K&N Snorkel Kit???

An aquaintance of mine at the bar has an 07 2500 Hemi. He opened up the throttle and I heard it and later asked him what he has for exhaust cuz I loved the sound. He said he has the K&N Snorkel kit which is mostly what I prolly heard (because of where I was standing) but that his exhause is Magnaflow. I then googled for this K&N kit when I got home, and was unable to find much of anything other than what says is for most 4 barrel carbs. Now this guy doesn't have an actual snorkel on his truck, so I'm assumeing he just has the hookup at the intake, and maybe drives around with out the snorkel and slaps it on when he goes off road, IDK...All I know is I loved the sound and want my truck to sound like it, but can't find the kit he is talking about, and haven't seen him since (except when the music was WAY too loud to talk) to ask him about it. Does anyone know anything about this kit and where to find it??

for a K&N snorkel it would have to be intake, ive never heard of it but it would have to have a baseball sized hole cut into his passenger side front fender. It would be hard to hide.

Exhaust wise, I guess he could have a clamp on exhaust snorkel but I dunno man. I think he paid someone to do the stuff or bought it like that and has no clue what he has

Sorry, maybe I was a bit confusing. His exhaust he said was Magnaflow...but he said mostly likely what I heard was the WHOP WHOP WHOP from the intake which was a K&N Snorkel Kit...While it was dark, I didn't see well enough if there was a hole in the fender, but saw his truck a couple times during the day and don't recall a hole in the fender. I assumed he meant he had the snorkel kit on the throttle body, but no actual snorkel.

He bought the truck new, and if he paid someone to do it, his buddy owns a muffler man shop so it would have been him, in which case so the shop owner would have told him exactly what it was.

I know my description is kinda confusing, I just thought someone here may have heard of such a thing...if not I guess I'll have to wait till I see him again and talk to him more about it

I think so also. Magnaflow exhaust and K&N CAI setup. Normal mods.

Here is a link to what a snorkel looks like on a truck.

If he has a snorkel it would like this or something simular to this. The picture isn't all that good in that it is a picture of a black snorkel on a black truck. But if you click on the picture it wil enlarge making it some what clearer. If not he must have a CAI.

I'm guessing thats just what he calls the k&n kit for the truck. Sometimes people have weird names for common things.
