You can pull fuse 23 and then turn the key on-off-on-off-on and wait a few secs until you hear to chimes back to back. Take the key out and replace the fuse

I'm sure a search would have found it, but...

Yank the PCM fuse, on an '04 I'm almost positive it's #23, but the top of the box will confirm. Sit in the truck and put your seatbelt on then turn the key on (but not to start) When all the dinging stops, pull the key and get your a$$ out and put the fuse back in. Not only should your code be cleared, but your PCM will also be reset...

Aw hell, damn section mod beat me to it... LMAO...

also go to any parts store and they will check your code for free and reset it this way you know for SURE what code is being thrown in case its something you didnt realize.

Are you just clearing a code and hoping it doesnt come back or did you fix the problem first?

I invested $100 in an obd-ii reader that has code clear function as well. Was worth it to me with 4 vehicles to potentially use it on and 3 of them being 8 years old or older.
