Exhaust HELP!

I have a 08 1500 5.7 hemi, its all stock right now, but i want to make some changes. The first one im thinking is a dual exhaust from the factory single. I want a cat-back, and Ive been looking at either a Cherry bomb extreme, or a Flowmaster 40. Ive heard several mixed reviews of each. So i was hoping to find someone with either exhaust or something different to tell me what they like. I want something that'll rumble, and turn some heads, but still be legal. Any ideas?
Oh and im on a budget. I dont want to spend over 500 on the system.

I've had a Flowmaster 50HD. Sound was very good, but it gave a rather annoying drone between about 1600-2200 rpm, which just happened to be at cruising speed on the highway. It also rusted out pretty quickly (and I'm not in a state that salts the roads). I was shocked when I removed it to find the top of the muffler to be almost completely gone. I also did some research (after the fact) and found how poorly Flowmaster mufflers flow air.

I swapped to a Cherry Bomb Extreme and could not be happier. Sound at idle is actually more tame than the Flowmaster was, but MUCH more aggressive when getting on the gas. The drone is also gone. Also, after about two years, there is no sign of any surface rust starting yet.
I dunno what the cost would be since I do all my own welding and exhaust work, but I can't imagine it would be anywhere near $500. Prolly more like $300 for a complete cat-back, parts & labor if I were to guess...

Magnaflow Kit # 16700 from www.performancepeddler.com Offer $400 and they will counteroffer a really good deal. All stainless with a lifetime warranty. Took me about an hour to remove the stock stuff and install the kit. Flows and sounds great without rusting away like Flowmaster and other non stainless systems.
The kit doesn't show to fit 08 but it does. You do not need to use the included midpipe because the 08 does not have a front resonator like the 06-07 do.
You won't regret this purchase.

I have a 06 2500 Hemi HD and it has a magnaflow single in dual out and everybody loves the way it sounds. I did have some drone allso but Ive put a few miles on it and either I don't notice it or the drone has cut back on it or I got use to it. If I had to do it over I would do it the same way
