Default Spark-plug Recommendations ?......

2003, 4.7 Magnum, auto.

Currently has Autolite plugs installed, been in a wee while and time for a change.

Been advised by one source to use NGK, ZFR6F-11G

Another source swears by Bosch, 4230.

Nobody appears to prefer Champion, RC12MCC4 ??

My Ram has no mods of any sort, plain standard as it left the factory, so whats your opinion on the above, or any other recommendations ??

All input is greatfully appreciated !

Alan......

I just did a plug change on my hemi and went with the stock champions. I was considering the NGK coppers, but nobody had them in stock.

Cheers guys,

Champions seem to be the major choice !

Not looking for any gains of any kind, was just curious to see if there was a favourite brand that everybody swears by ?

Cost doesnt really come into it as everything over here in Britian is an arm and a leg anyways !! Most folks think I am mad using my Ram at the cost of fuel over here, currently at £1.33 a litre, £6.65 a gallon which equates to around $10.60 a gallon for you guys !!

Use my Ram as my second vehicle, weekends etc, and have an old diesel runaround for the daily 70 mile commute.

Apoligies if this probably inane, "been asked before question" is a pain.

Nobody mentions Autolite plugs, are they cheapy rubbish ?

Alan...........

Bosch is garbage. Had one of their platinum plugs ruin a perfect 302 in my Dad's F150. The center electrode fell out and wedged between the piston and cylinder wall. Left a nice gouge that caused major blow-by. I will never use their plugs again. O2 sensors, yes, plugs, no.
I run the NGK V-power plugs in all of my rides, but the Champions work fine in a Mopar too.
