DO NOT use throttle body cleaner or carb cleaner. Dodge issued a TSB saying to use non-chlorinated brake cleaner only.

Well I used TB cleaner without any problems. The very next day after cleaning it, I read on here not to use TB cleaner. It got me a little worried but nothing bad has happened yet.

If yuo have already cleaned it then dont worry about it. They say not to use carb cleaner because some guys go crazy and dip the entire unit in solution or go spray crazy and get it everywhere including in the electronics. Just use the non-chlorinated brake cleaner and be careful where you spray it.

on this same topic is there anything special to keep aware of when you have one of the electronically controlled throttle trucks where there isn't a cable going from pedal to TB..

Also do you guys replace the TB gasket after removing it or just use some form of RTV?

The TB gasket is a bead type gasket that fits on the intake itself and should not come out or off.

As for the chems to use, just keep it out of any electronics.
