OK.....can anyone help a mixed up dude with regards to what side of a vehicle is called the left or right?????

I have some parts I need to fit, to the correct side of my truck.

Is the right side of the truck looking towards the front, or from the back??

I think it's as you look at the truck from the front, so the drivers side is the right side of the truck.

Bear with me, as we over here in the UK have our drivers on the opposite side to my American cousins lol and I do have a USA truck over here.

So whats the convention on a USA truck please?

Ha ha ha.....I'm so confused now ???

Help.......

Al.

Left is the drivers side on our trucks over here. We drive on the right side of the road too.

Ha ha ha ha.......This is sooo complicated.

My "drivers side" is next to the "sidewalk" over here in the UK.

OK kiding aside, the side where the steering wheel on an American truck is situated is called the left side and the pasenger side is the right side.

So my rear brake caliper stamped right must be fitted to the rear passenger side wheel.

Got it lol.

Perhaps you should ring up the chaps you are buying the parts from.

It is classified from looking forward from the front seat. So here in the USA, the driver side is the left side. Same over there. The left side of the steering wheel is the left side of the vehicle.
