Sorry to revive a dead thread, no im not lol. But Im looking into a set of lift spindles for my 07 Ram 1500

Im looking at this set (http://www.ebay.com/itm/2002-2008-Do...d7a389&vxp=mtr) hoping to avoid the issues encountered with the AirBagIt ones as you all have encountered.

Any experiences with these or does anybody know if AirBagit has fixed theirs?

What issue are you referring to?

FYI, I wouldn't recommend bidding on anything on Ebay that doesn't use a picture of the actual product you plan on receiving. Up to you though.

That product will lift the truck but it won't get rid of the rake as it lifts the front and rear pretty equally. I agree with Brandon though as the spindles pictured definitely aren't lift spindles

I'm referring to the sway bar contact issues. I am aware that the product pictured isn't for my specific make model and I have already asked seller to provide actual photo but this by itself doesn't concern me as even reputable site use generic photos for products all the time.

The rake doesn't concern me as I plan to 86 the blocks and am doing a air assist on the back to keep me level. I just cant find these spindles alone they only seem to come with complete lift kits.

However if the Airbagit spindles have had there issues resolved I'd happily go with them as Ive used them in the past without issue.

I'm pretty sure they solved those issues at least a couple years ago. No one has talked about issues with them in awhile on here and they're actually the recommended way to go if you're looking for a good, cheap lift

Or just take an angle grinder and 5 mins per side and be done. I did it on mine long ago.

Yea I just haven't seen any recent comments about them, so I wasn't sure. Everybody thats posted that they are ordering and will report back disappeared lol. Ill give AirBagit a shot, im just always nervous about removing material from any suspension component.

Also, AirBagIt says it recommends new upper C arms, why are these needed since replacing spindles should not change suspension geometry

02-05 with stock UCAs is fine. 06-08s can be fine also but the reason new "adjustable" UCAs are recommendedis because there is less clearance
