Whats the cheapest way..

First off go under your truck and find the two bars that run from front to back of your truck, they slide into the lower control arm on one side and the other goes into a cross member. Now look at the cross member and find two bolts with the heads facing to the ground, i think they are a 17 socket but i forgot. Those are the bolts you tighten. To tighten them, lift the front of your truck with a jack to get the majority of the weight off the bars, then tighten them. Guys will tell you not to tighten them all the way but I did. Just dont make the front end sit higher than the rear. The cool thing is if you dont like it, you can always loosen them back up. Don't be scared when you crank them and drive over a bump and you hear a big bang, that is the stock shocks topping out. You'll need to get longer ones.

Yes you NEED an alignment and there is an excellent writeup by hammer on how to adjust in the faqs. Basically under your truck , about dead center you'll see where your torsion bars run back to the keys. You ned to jack your truck up and turn the bold in giving you lift up front. But check the faqs man its easy.

yes, of course you do, you change the dynamics of the suspension. I think that's why some people say the crank is harder on the front end then a level kit. Some people falsely believe since you are not changing out any parts, you don't need to have an alignment done...

Of course you could, but it won't do anything for ride height. You will also find that if you go much over 2" with a crank or level kit, you'll need longer shocks anyway.
Yes, and yes. You'll need an alignment VERY SOON after cranking them up and even if you went back down right away, I doubt you'd end up EXACTLY where it was to start with, so you'd need an alignment.

hey AJMAG...i cranked my tbars about 10 turns on each side...and mine is sittin leveled...but dont be scared if one bolt is futher up than the other one. also your goin to need a 19mm socket..but make sure u have a floor jack to lift up your front end, you want your front tires in the air...makes it easier to turn the bolts IMO
