Yeah, that chit is like tar. I usually work on top of a towel and lets just say Ive bought several towels

I just used regular silicone, worked fine for me. That stuff looks sweet though, im sure its more bulletproof.

Regular Silicone can tend to degrade over time... and sometimes silicone can cause discoloration of the headlight lens and reflector depending on the type and how it cures... Some silicone actually loses adhesion after awhile.

Aquarium safe silicone can work pretty well but sometimes doesn't always have a good bond strength.

Best bet is to use the stuff that is purpose made for this application, which is usually a Butyl based adhesive.

just a little professional knowledge there from experience. lol
