Forums for any brand tend to offer extreme points of view, i.e. a lot of complaints and problems (often seeking help and commiseration), along with a lot of "Rah, Rah."

The middle-of-the-road, don't care, no problem majority tend not to be Forum contributors.

Just an on-line fact of life, imho.

viper-gts is very pro-titan, but doesn't own a truck. So like Avanti said about the salt....good advice.

My feeling is that a lot of people get a little too wound up about what others think. We got Ram's because we liked them, and everybody had their own reason. If somebody thinks the Titan or Chevy or Ford a better truck for whatever reason, go get one. My feeling is the Titan the ugliest truck out there, but to each his own. There's also a heck of alot more to a truck than drag times, although the Hemi definately is fun to get into the gas on.

Ya gotta be happy with what ya got. If you are, then screw what everybody else thinks. My opinion.

You're exactly right. There is a whole lot more to a truck than dragtimes. I know that if everyone who bought a Hemi Ram was concerned with dragtimes, they would not have purchased the 4x4 QC. They would have purchased a lighter RC, or an SRT.

Yeah but the "boat anchors" are very nice, and make the truck out handle most. Second, if you want to buy a foreign built truck, go right ahead. You might have a bit faster truck, but no 20's and no supporting the US workers.

You know, the titan is made here, as is the Toyota.

The Ram is still the best looking full size truck out there.

Anyway you look at it, the Ram 1500 with the Hemi is no slouch and im proud to own it. In fact its the best truck I have ever owned, and yes I have owned all 3 american brands. buying a Japinese truck just goes againt the grain ( mine anyway ). So you can draw your own conclusion and make your own judgements. I will put my Hemi up against all brands as I am confident it is a very capable and powerful truck. It will run with the best of them and hold it's own, and gain much respect along the way. It may not be the fastest at this, and the best at that. But it serves my purpose and that's all that counts and in my book it's #1!
