The added weight of the spray in will help with ride quality and noise, too.

The added weight will most likely cause a drop in fuel mileage and unless you have a hostage in your bed I wouldn't worry too much about the noise issue- teehee

A guy I work with loves his bed rug. He has a hard top on his umm.. other brand truck and doesn't haul anything other than a cooler or two. I suppose if you are like him and not hauling a bunch of stuff you don't need rolling all over and banging the sides of your bed up, the rug would be the cheapest way to at least cover the bottom. Pretty sure there are two seperate pieces to buy, the big one for the bed and the small one to screw onto the tailgate. I don't think the tailgate piece does much to protect the lip though.
