I found my friend a 06 Ram 2wd 4.7 engine q cab with only 29,000 miles on it. He is going to take his wife over tomorrow to look at it. he's sure he is going to by it. It looks like new.I have a 06 myself.What I want to know is what he should check on really carefully for problems. I know one thing for sure is make sure the tail lights are working ok. I don't know what rear end it has its 2wd theres nothing in the glove box to tell you. He's buying it from a Chrysler dealer so I will make sure he gets a build sheet with it. I just want to know for sure what else he should he double check on it he will be getting a 3month 3,000 mile drive train warranty

 

They use the same rearend as the 4x4. 9.25 AAM. I would inspect the fluid, especially if it has the Anti-spin option. Might check the ball joints, tie rod ends and such. Also just look for signs of it being wrecked such as paint overspray, mismatched paint colors, primer overspray in door jambs, etc.
