Ram cutting out at low acceleration between 45-65mph...

I've got an 02 Durango and having the same problem, and driving me CRAZY! This is the first post I've seen with the same problem, except mine does it right around 30-40 mph right at the point between accelerating and letting off. At first I thought it was the transmission (automatic), but I don't think it is. I've replaced the air filter, and did what weedahoe posted, but no results. I'm gonna try replacing plug wires next and see what that does. If it works , I'll let you know. In the mean time any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Sorry to reply to an old thread, but was there a resolution for this? I searched but didn't find anything else like this.
I'm having the same problem with an '04 Dakota (4.7L) that I bought recently. I got the car dealer to replace the IAC, TPS and clean the intake and throttle body because the RPM's were bouncing at startup. Fixed bouncing issue but not the cut out. I replaced the plugs last weekend with copper NGK's but the issue remains.
Took the truck to tranny shop and they believe it to be intake or air/fuel related. They're currently cleaning the top end & valves just in case the stealership missed something.
Besides the cutting out in the 45-65 mph range it also idles a little rough. I've noticed the cutting out is worse on really hot days. We just had a 100 degree day in the Minneapolis metro & it was pretty bad on the highway @ 65 mph.
Any thoughts would be great!
