Got any pics of the stock intake? That intake is designed to fit the 3.7, 4.7, and 5.7 Rams where the TB is facing forward and sits near the firewall, in the middle, under the hood. Is the 5.9 set up like that? Here is a pic of mine which is almost the same installed

it's a 5.9 motor so i think his tb is more in the center and faces upwards like the standard carbed motors..can you take pics of your motor and your intake parts and pot them up?

they should have spec'd it for certain vehicles, looks like it would fit the 3.7, 4.7 an 5.7 with the tb at rear of motor...

yeah on the 5.9 the throttle body faces upward not forward so if thats not for a 5.9 it wont fit unless you modify it

Ok, after looking at pictures of yours it looks like they sent me one for the 5.7L. My piping looks like yours, it seems like it would need another 90 degree turn downwards to get to my TB. And yes, my TB sits facing straight up. I snapped a couple pics but not sure how to post them? Can you post directly from your Desktop or do i need to have em online? Thx

Add: The site states "Based on manufacturer’s specs, this part is an exact fit for: 2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Base 8 Cyl 5.9L"... Obviously bull****, talking to customer service at the moment about it

Yea hopefully you can get a refund or exchange it, k&n and volant make them for the 5.9. I'm not sure if there are any cheap knockoffs like kool vue for the 5.9 though.

I bought one for my truck it was a knock off for 60 bucks... I honestly took it off after a month I got tired of hearing the engine sucking all the time and I bought it mainly to see if it would improve my mpg . I drove and monitored my mileage for a month and gained 1 mpg but I was also driving very conservatively and found I got the same mileage when I drove conservatively with the old air cleaner.... Other then it looked cool I guess it sucks getting old the noise wasn't cool anymore.

You need one with a pipe shaped like this one. Totally different animal.
