Default 4.7 noise

can anyone post a video ofr the cold start noise that the 4.7 makes like the tap or tick any video would be helpful and does anyone know what this noise is

Cam chain tensioners. You can live with it, or swap them out. I'm living with it....

its not the tensioners by the way just had the whole timing set changed and i still have it but my local mechanic thinks that its the lash adjusters for sure

I had the lash adjusters changed on the right side about 4 years ago. That made the sound go away - for a while.
I have dealer do my oil changes ($17.95) it's cheaper than I can buy it, but sometimes they put in 5w-20 (it's whats in their 55 gal drum) and it makes the tick sound on cold starts. But when it has 10w-30 (like the manual says) I have no problems. I have 148,000 miles on mine.

dod you remember what it costed to have them changed by the way and i think it calls for 5w30
