Exclamation traction bars?

my 03 hemi will haul a$$ but i cant race anyone from under 30 cause ill just sit there and roast my tires away. ive looked at traction bars and i know they will help, but is it worth my time to buy em and install em, i just cant wrap my head around how a 50 dollar part can keep me from spinning my tires?

i need opinions!

They won't help you. All they are really for is to keep it from wheel hopping.

You would need ladder bars to hook the rearend to the frame so that when the axle tries to twist, it is lifting the truck and shifting weight to the rear tires.

Or you can invest in softer tires like a drag radial.

Are you lowered or lifted? Get your self some caltracs to help wih wheel hop and a better/wider tire. When I was running a 275/55/20 with the converter and gears, I was eating the tires up. Spun at every light I gunned it from. Was so bad at the track that it do this:

Got rid of them and swapped out to a 305/50/20 and it sticks pretty good now even with the Comp 268 installed. I can still roast the tires on demand but it takes more to do it now. In the next month or so I am picking up some caltracs for the wheel hop to give a little more control when it spins and they should help with some traction as well. The slapper bars arent that great and the ladderbars I thought were only for 2500's but I may be mistaken
