4.7 noise

i am getting a noise in the oil pan it sounds like the oil pump would an oil pump make like a ticking type noise or a tapping i had it to a local mechanic and he said thats where he gets the noise with his stethoscope

Look around the forum, the search function is down. There seems to be a complaint about the timing chain tensioners causing chain slap that sounds like that.
