Default Magnaflow Y Pipe 2006 Ram

Hey All,

I am about to get the Magaflow Y Pipe for my 2006 Hemi Ram (5.7). I already have a Magnaflow muffler and am looking to get rid of the restrictive stock Y pipe.

Does anyone know the correct size needed for a 2006? I was going to order the 2.5 inch to 3 inch but just wanted to confirm.

TIA.

Yep, that's the size. Good investment. Had I known they existed at the time, I would have bought one when I did my exhaust. I paid a local exhaust shop to make me one, mine is a huge improvement over the stock "Y", but not as free as the Maggy and not stainless either & it cost me $10 more to have them make it than I could have bought the Maggy for...

2.25" in / 3" out is the exact size. Magnaflow does not make the size but Flowmaster does and its a better design also.

would that be the same size for stock pipe? when they did my exhaust the just cut where the stock muffler was at so from that point forward is stock size.

The 2.5/3" Maggy fit my neighbors '06, no problem. I welded it on for him last November.

And I can't agree on the FM being a better design.

Maggy:

FM:

Plus the FM is aluminized, costs more while the Maggy is stainless and costs less...
