Weird Vibration
Hey guys, Im new here and interested in getting some opinions
I have a 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 laramie sport 4X4
The problem is when I punch on it from a stop I get a wierd vibration almost like the whole cab is vibrating. It will only do it for a few seconds but then stop. This only happends in 2WD if I put it into 4X4 it goes away.
Also after accelerating when I take my foot of the gas and the truck starts to slow I get a wierd droning sound from somewhere Iv been underneath of it and the ujoints seem ok,
Any ideas? Need more info just ask

Do you have any kind of lift on the truck? Some trucks do that because the angle of the driveshaft is too great or the driveshaft needs to have have a spacer installed between the shaft and the third member in order to push the spline back into the transfer case.
No lift and no leveller either trucks stock!
I'm going to be checking the joints again this week, should the front driveshaft from the tcase to the tranny have any side to side or up to down play in it?

Wheel hop from the rearend when it is spinning a little causing the shudder under hard acceleration?
The roaring noise could be the rearend. Might change the fluid and have a look inside for play and metal shavings.
