Default Invision Rear Seat DVD Player

Hello, Dodge Forum

Im new here and have a few things Im trying to finger out with my new Dodge. Im on JeepForum all the time but did not see a place here for info on my Dodge. so to get help for now I will put it in the thread.

2008 Dodge Ram 2500 Turbo Diesel Mega Cab 4X4.

It has a Invision DVD Player in it (rear seat entertainment system). I cant make this thing work to save my life. Nor can I find anything about it on the internet being installed on this truck. Is it stock?? Is there a safety switch ( not the one on the front of the unit). I have tried everything key on key off. like its getting no power. Any help would be great.

Thanks man. I have already been down that road and have the manual in hand and it gives no help with troubleshooting, wiring or anything one would need to troubleshoot this system without just ripping it apart. Thanks again!! any other ideas??

You are going to have to take something apart so you can see where it is wired to power at and see if it has an inline fuse or maybe not connected at all.

The factory wiring is here... https://dodgeforum.com/forum/3rd-gen...-mega-cab.html
The connector under the dash goes inline with the deck an DVD player. Obviously fused if you have no power I am sure you checked that first.

Anything can be fabricated and retrofitted to be installed in anything. Just trace the wires and see what you got first.
