The lights on my instrument panel don't seem to be operating correctly. It is almost impossible to see the radio time of day or station. The odometer seems to be OK, but then I'm sitting right in front of it. No amount of playing with the intensity on the rolling switch seems to help.

Any ideas?

 

Sounds like you have some burnt out lights? There are a few threads here and maybe something in out FAQs/DIY/How To's where guys have changed the bulbs and even colors.
