Bump for something else. Has anyone had this problem fixed. My dealership ( hayes in lawrenceville, GA) are idiots. Does anyone have a good mechanic in the ATL metro area. I have a 3 yr unlimited mileage powertrain warranty but this is getting old. 2 years left on warranty

Sounds like it might be time to ask to talk to a factory warranty Rep., if they even have them anymore.

Default My 06 has done this for some time

Never stalls, but it will hunt for a proper idle when coming to a stop. Typically will drop to 300rpm. I've noted that if I very slightly tap the acc. pedal it will jump back to the proper idle and hold it just fine.

Not plugs or electical. Suspected Tps or some other PCM control. Also suspected O2 sensor, but with no CEL on this seemed a long shot.

When engine idle is bumped becasue air cond. is on there is never any problem. So whatever is causing it is something that is only marginally effecting the idle.

My 07 did this a few months after I bought it, very annoying. It went away after I put the efan, or tuner on it, not sure since they were at the same time.

Was the throttle body removed and when cleaned? If it is dirty, it can cause the blade to stick and cause an unstable idle.
A steady 500 is normal for a Hemi when at normal operating temp.

I have had good luck with the yellow Duralast batteries from Autozone. 8yr warranty.
