Default Brake and ABS warning lights are on

So I just ignored the warning lights and today the pedal went real low and it felt like gear grinding and no stopping power. Then the next time they worked fine. I got home and I have brake fluid full and all pads are in great condition with about 70% left. I'm afraid to drive it. Any suggestions?

It did not feel like the ABS system reducing the brake pressure in a pulsating type of way. Normally I would not expect the ABS system to attempt to work if the light is on. My ABS light was cause by a bad wheel sensor but I never had that problem before it was fixed.

first whats this on do you have 2 or 4 wheel abs. and if the fliud is full more then likely you have a bad bearing and the rotor is falling over meaning your pedel needs to push the rotor streight before adapting the brakes. cause the low pedel feeling

First you need to scan for codes, then you will know where to look.

No just a grinding sinking feeling.

4 wheel ABS Rotors and pads are all in great shape

The only code that came up was for evap systems it's been coming up for ever and is not related.

If you have any grinding you will see fresh clean metal. Have you pull the tires off and inspected anything?

Like I said the brakes and rotors look great. It wasn't that kind of grinding. It was definitely related to the abs system. The grinding felt more like two gears no meshing properly while the brake pedal sank. It's working fine now but the warning lights keep going on and off.
