Default Air Conditioning help

I need to find an electric blower motor for the AC condenser. Apparently Chrysler had to "re-engineer" what I have on my vehicle. I had Carquest order a new motor and it is no way near close to matching up to what I took off. The only other option thru Carquest and a Dodge dealer is a new motor, fan, and shroud. I am not paying that kind of money! I called 1 local junkyard and they will only sell me the complete assembly. Somebody help....Weed, Hammer, Marx.....Anyone! 2004 1500, 5.7

You can look for a blower motor for any Ram 1500 from '99-'03.

Edit: I originally found an AC/Delco that one site listed for all '99-'03 Rams & Vans, but another site I found right after only lists it for the Van.

To be on the safe side, here is one I found that specifically lists the '03 Ram 1500 5.7 - all submodels.

http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/sk...gs+Best+Seller

Cost is $93 with free shipping.

You may also choose to find a "Pic-N-Pull" junkyard, the ones where you go out and pull the part(s) yourself. They will usually not care if you pull anything apart and only will charge you for the part you walk up to the counter with.

115.00? Jesus.....Carquest only wanted 32.00. This isn't the cabin blower motor, it's the 12 volt motor for the fan on my condenser

My bad, I basically read electric blower motor and just a went to Googlin'.

Not gonna like what I found, now I didn't go nuts searching and basically gave it a 10 min. try, but the best I could come up with was Rock Auto who wants $70 for it.

Maybe someone else can do better, either that or do the "pick-n-pull" thing...

That's it Hammer. $70.00 isn't bad compared to the $220.00 plus that Carquest and Chrysler wants me to spend on a new motor, fan, and shroud. 190,000 miles, and just now started acting up, why did Chrysler think they need to re-engineer it?

Except, my wiring harness plugs directly into the motor, no pig tail. BUT, I bet I could make it work.
