Default Flip kit+load=SAFE?

sup guys
So i recently purchased some wheel adapter (1.5) and now i want to put a flip kit on the rear but i do use the bed quite often and i have been wondering would it be safe to load; lets say...up to 800lbs? on the back having a flip kit? It just doesnt seem safe to have the truck loaded whith the axle being over the leafs.

Dunno, the only people I personally know outside of forums with lowered trucks are girls and neither of them use their trucks for anything near what I'd call truck use.

(Now don't go reading anything into this, it just so happens I don't personally know any guys with a lowered truck - I know how you summbi*ches think!!!)

I would say just by the decrease in travel alone that the carrying capacity can't be anywhere near what it would be at stock height...

See, I know how you guess think. But really, the only 2 people I know with a lowered truck just happen to be female. One of them has an S10 and it actually looks bad a$$. I'll have to ask her to email me a couple of pics of it. She takes it to a lot of shows...

I think it would lower the load quite a bit just by reducing the length the springs can travel. Generally people dont lower their trucks to carry tons of weight in the bed.

I've hauled roughly half that with my flip kit. A yamaha raptor. It did fine until i hit a pot hole or bump in the road. The bumps stop would bottom out on the rear end. I've used super springs and they actually helped.

I'd say you need bags or some stiff springs to carry much load with little to no travel

problem with bags is that you might not have enough room for them in there

^^^ LOL
very good facts guys. you know, i might not lower the rear once I put the adapters/spacers. i was just going after that "low with wide stance /tires sticking out look" (dont like em when they are low and the tires are tucked inn) I'll post some before/after pics once i get them. Thanks guys!

That's a sweet looking truck, I hardly ever see you posting anymore. Get some more pics up of that thing!
