Default Air Conditioning Problems

I have a 2004 5.7 litre Hemi...that seems to have some cooling problems. As long as the vehicle is running, The air blows cold, just like it should. But when parked or sitting at a light it will slowly begin to blow warmer and warmer. If you leave it parked long enough, it will fog up the windows. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

Sounds like a clogged condenser/radiator.
Go out and when the A/C begins to get warm, take your garden hose and spray the cooling fins of the A/C radiator and see if the air goes cold again. I have this issue with my Explorer, but choose to not fix it. Just don't stop rolling....lol Just sucks that the A/C doesn't even turn cold until I'm rolling.

Make sure that the electric cooling fan for the a/c condenser is coming on with the a/c. If not, at idle the discharge pressure will get high enough to open the cut-out switch. Driving down the road creates enough ram air through the condenser to keep the pressures down.

Mine was doing the same thing, it was the condenser fan not running. I bought a new one and was going to fix it a week or so ago and now the one on the truck is working again, I guess it got jealous...

Is there a relay from the A/C system to the fan that could go bad/dirty?
