Its sounds like you may be loosing bus communications from the fcm or pcm. Might be a good idea to pull bat power and check all the computer connections, look for corrosion, especially the fcm under the fuse block

Also might try checking the connections at the back of the IC also

Checked the FCM and all other conections no visible corrosion I will check the conections on the back of the gauge cluster, so a bad cluster would disable the vehicle

No,

I have a 2005 2500 with no problems of that sort yet.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no--I've heard guys here having problems with the earlier pre-canbus system, where they'll run without the cluster and sometimes not

Do you have a heavy keychain?

Mine caused my cluster to go out once or twice while driving, a wiggle of the keys and it all lit back up. I've since limited my key weight.

I have been doing some surching and I think it may be my fuse box, I have no reverse lights, ic dies , intermittent wippers not so intermittent, won't start some times. It seams like a lot of people have had issues with these fuse box and I think dodge should take responsibility, it is clearly a design flaw or at least a discount on the part . My dealer is telling me the can tell me what is wrong by doing a scan it cost 89 but what's the chances of them finding it and what's the chances of getting out of there for. Just 89 . Do anybody else sell the fuse box besides the dealer? I have owned a lot of cars and never did a fuse box go this is a saftey issue and dodge should be accountable

search in scrapyards or even on craigslist

I found one recently for cheap.

Have you checked for oxidized connectors etc?

Disconnect your battery negative, then pull the fuse box, there's a bolt on the fender and a plastic screw in the front. All the connectors have locks on them, undo the lock (slide red tab down) then spread open with the white cover and work off. They are color coded.

There can be oxidization on the connectors, but the real issue is the circuit board inside. You can take apart the fuse block to further inspect it.

This is symptoms of weaking ground point(s). If the gages continue reading correct
when they do come back on.

I had this similar ordeal with a '95, pealed the boot back and the lower contacts
were cover with corrosion.

Do get back and let us know of your solution/resolve.
