Default Obd codes p0403,p0406,p0700

P0403- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Circuit Malfunction
P0406 Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor A Circuit High
P0700 Transmission Control System Malfunction

ANY IDEAS ON THIS???
I went to a few different places that showed no errors with check engine light on, then the last place i went to showed these 3.

anyone dealt with these before?

First two is EGR related. Double check that the EGR line is secured. Maybe a replacement is in order.

For 403 and 406 I'd pull the EGR valve and check it out, plus check out the circuit that plugs into the top. It's located just below the alternator and it's about the size of a regular size 20 oz. water bottle. There are 2 bolts on the bottom, a gasket, and I think 1 other bolt up top where the sensor is (it's been awhile). Here's a nice rundown on general EGR system problems. http://www.engine-light-help.com/egr-valve.html

P0700 is almost certainly unrelated to the EGR valve. I'd just clear that one and see if it comes back. It's just the general "somethings up with the transmission" flag. If it comes back, then hopefully it will throw another code along with it so you can diagnose it.

Default damn the codes!

i fixed the egr problem and reset it. i then drove about 400 miles and the light came back on. had it checked and now its throwing some new codes.

p1521 - idle speed control
p0430 - cat. conv. bank 2
and still p0700 - general transmission code.

i changed out an o2 sensor on bank 2 to see if it clears the p0430...
i'm not too sure whats up with the p1521 or the p0700.

im thinking if the o2 sensor doesnt fix the p0430 then im just gonna go get some high flow cats put on... and maybe try to change the tranny fluid and put some fresh royal purple in to see if it does anything with the p0700, im due for that anyways.

On the P0430, check for loose or broken exh bolts on the pass side manifold.

As for the P0700, thats never good. Do a thread search on that here on the site
