i dont know where is located, i have brought it to the Dodge Dealer and they have replaced it and its great since than. keep the RPM to 4 or 4500 at most ))

well i got the truck booked for friday morning at the dealship i take it too
i informed them that about a guy i talked to had the same issue and mentioned that his dealship changed some selnoid that controls the rpm the people i talked too didnt know what a throttlebody so i guess gonna have to talk to there eletrical guy..wish me luck lol

mine is 4.7 l magnum V8 engine and the truck is dodge ram 1500 year 2005 and good luck.

 

ya i had a truck like yours its run by throttle cable last year mines ran by etc wich if was like in your case was the tps sensor i had mine go on my 05 but now in mine its actually inside the throttlebody caseing..

 

well its solved took to dealship got head mech to drive truck and it was surging in rpm and idle called 3 hrs later came to cause was the throttlebody the etc inside was all messed up all coverd woosh..

yes now the truck went t tim hortons(canada's dunkin donuts/but better P )and it idles so smoothly now and im happy as hell
