Default engine rpm jump while stoped in drive any suggestions?!?

Well have this issue for a bit when my truck is in drive stopped say at a drive threw or a stoplight the truck will jump in idle i see the rmp jump 300-400 rmp then drop again but the engine changes its tone and give the truck a heavier shake.

This is what i have done latly had 2 manifold bolts replaced broke and replaced my egr and map sensor i have cleaned my cai and throttle body the truck is going in for trans pump seal service(leaking).I just had my injectors cleaned by stealership im lost. My pcm was flashed by them no chip is installed atm this has been going on for quite some time but getting worse as time goes by i checked for any frayed or damaged coil pack wires ect im lost!! could it be my throttle body?? newb question here is the etc part of my throttle body??? any help would be nice thx guys

Funny you should mention that...I have the exact same problem. And if I don't have my foot on the brake pedal firmly, the truck slightly jumps forward because of the rpm increase. It's happened since I bought the truck about a year and a half ago. All of my maintenance is up to snuff.

Just my opinion I would check the iac. Its on the back of the throttle body and if this isn't working it do as you said.

Is it a Hemi or 4.7L? The Hemi doesn't have an IAC.

Mine sometimes does this from 500rpm to 650 or so. This is normal if the lights are on and such because the voltage drops when at 500rpm and the PCM bumps the idle back up to 650 to keep the battery from draining. If yours does this all of the time, the throttlebody might be dirty and the blade is sticking causing the idle to fluctuate.

Possibly causing the transmission to act funny if it was sucking air.

its the solenoid that its controlling the RPM, i had the same problem, brought it to a dealer because i have waranty and the have change it and no problem. thats its caused if you were making burnout and put the rpm to the max and stay there for long period
