Find a new shop, a lot of guys run true dual (although I don't, I have always liked to tie in a "Y" or "X" or even an "H" pipe to equalize) and I don't personally know anyone with an issue.
Backpressure is inefficiency, plain and simple. Yes, it does move the torque curve down a little lower in the RPM range, but it doesn't improve torque at all.
What they SHOULD have advised you, if they knew their a$$ses from a hole in the ground is not to use one of the most restrictive, chambered design after-market mufflers on the planet...

Well heres whats going on the cats have just been replaced and now the 02 sensors went out ,the truck as i just found out has tru duals on it already into a dual in and dual out muffler with no x y or h pipe and there saying thats what is causing the 02 sensors to burn out !!!!! Should i get a y pipe made and do a single in dual out ???? Are just start over with 3 inch to a single in dual out to save the 02 s

Yeah, don't worry, with Flowmasters, you will have plenty of back pressure and two mufflers that will rust away in a couple of years.
That will not have any effect of the life of an O2 sensor.
What codes are you getting? They are not burning out because of "too much exhaust flow", especially if you have cats. I think your exhaust guy is burned out.
The Muffler you have does the same thing as a x pipe pretty much since all of the exhaust meets in the muffler.
Get the actual codes and post them here and we will point you in the right direction.

Only issue you may have is retapping the 02 sensors when the Y pipe is cut out. I ran into this on my 06 2500 hemi when I went to true duals, one 02 sensor was in the Y, I did this back in 06 and I have never had issues with 02 sensors, nor any loss of back pressure ( have the 6sp man ) but I can't keep mufflers in tact.
Your only going to see payback if you tow or on the Highway a lot.

That's a cat inefficiency code, if it's a new cat, my bet is they have a bad weld and an exhaust leak after the pre-cat O2 and before the post cat sensor. I've done that one myself after welding on a new cat and having to work on the ground, tight space crawling under a car/truck and not getting a good bead on the blind (upward) side of the pipe...
