Default trans issue continued

ok guys so ive been fighting this trans issue, see my other post......any ways the dealer said that the computer wasnt telling the trans to shift right so they said i needed a new one.... got one and had it put in (not at the dealer and their prices, lol) anyways still same issue, the guy told me that it could be the selinoid pack, this sound right and has anyone done it on a 06 2500 with the hemi??

Yeah, very likely could be the shift solenoid pack, but usually a dealer will check that before they'd recommend a complete PCM swap...

Your old post, you wrote you have a hemi motor. Thats means you have a 545RFE transmission. First thing I would have done at the dealer was perform a clutch test, after that road test and verify the problem. Once the problem was verify, then remove the pan and inspect the accumulator cover on side of the valve body. Its very common for the plate to break and bend. When this does happen you will loose 3rd and 4th gears. Thats doesn't mean that is what is wrong with your truck. If the plate is not broken, then I remove the valve body and perform an air check to the clutch packs. If they are not leaking, then I would reommend a valve body assy.
