Default Hard to start my truck

I have a 04 "hemi" ram with approx. 170 k changed the plugs once.I have the champions (which were stock).Truck is occassionally hard to start,STALLS at low idle.Maybe the plugs?

170k and you changed the plugs once? LOL

No wonder you have issues. You might not have anything left on the tip of those plugs. Go spend $35 and replace them.

Yeah ,thats what I was thinnin,time to change.Is it hard to do,lst time had them done,now since unemployed gonna do myself?

It ain't a "walk in the park" but it's doable. Might want the clean the TB, clean/replace the PCV valve. A Sea Foam treatment might be in order too. Since money's probably tight, you may be able to clean the PCV. That's cheaper than a new one at $30 or so. The problem may be that it's long overdue as well.

if you're unemployed that truck should be enjoying you underneath it and crawled up in the engine bay for the next week doing much needed maintenance on it. Plenty of threads on this forum if you're not sure how to do something.

Already cleaned out the throttle body was vvery dirty,just changed the plugs,had to order a new coil,one was cracked.Have pics of plugs post soon with pic of truck

I'd do wires as well if you haven't already - quick job, helps just as much as the plugs sometimes
