So earlier this spring I replaced the steering box and pump on my 06 MegaCab with a hemi. The old box was full of metal shaving and took a crap. Now my pump/system seems to be surging. When turning a corner it is like the system kicks in and then off causing a slight jerk. It gets easier and harder to turn in little surges.

What might be the causer of this? It is a 2006 Ram with the Hemi.
