Sounds like you may need to get an AC recharge. If you do that and it still blows warm after a few minutes then you may have a leak in the system.

Default Awesome AC now

Thanks to Nelson, Catfish, and Frank, I removed that door above the fan, it was just sitting there. Works great now. I guess this is a common problem with several vehicles, anyway, got great AC now, Thanks!!

What flap are you guys talking about?!! What door? I need more details! I’m going nuts under the dash looking bcuz I have cold af air blowing hard af on the passengers side, and warm air (it’s summer time in vegas) barely trickling out the vents on the drivers side. I took my blower motor off and there’s no where to stick my hand up in there there’s just a round “lid” that has a plastic “cage”? And the start of the ventilation chamber. I’ve already replaced all 3 blendoors and followed someone else’s suggestion to check fuses which only led to more issues... I’m working on an 06 Magnum RT.... anyone know what to do? I’m dying in the heat please help!
More issues after replacing fuses and taking apart the whole dash: gas gauge won’t read now in instrument cluster. Drivers side and back hatch locks unresponsive. Dome lights unresponsive. I think that’s it for now... that I have noticed.

Does your magnum RT have dual zone climate control? If not, it's possible the refrigerant is low. It can cause half the evaporator coil to freeze up. One side of the dash will feel exceptionally cold, the other warm or room temp.

I do not recommend those parts stores AC recharge kits as they often have sealers and other additives that can cause more damage to the AC system long term.

But yeah take it to an AC shop and have them check your refrigerant pressures.

It does but only for temperature. I’m strapped for cash at the moment any idea how much this kind of thing should cost? I’m a female and shops tend to love gouging us girls...

Depends on the severity. If something needs to be replaced (Like an A/C Compressor for example) then I would Automatically be expecting to pay around $1000+. Whenever there are issues with the A/C it tends to get expensive FAST.
