You're right, I think you should leave it the way it is . . . pinkish. It sounds good pink.

Truck doens't sound too bad. Is that the stock muffler with just the resinator taken off? It sounds better then the stock muffler. If thats the case ill go get my resinator taken off right now, while im still saving up for an exhuast system. Dont forget to post your new system today! I hope it sounds bad ***.

I had the back resonator on mine removed. I dont know if they all come with two or not but mine sounds pretty good. I didnt remove the one closest the muffler just the one out back over the rear end. I have a dual IN/Dual Out flowmaster that I have been contemplating installing but I dont know if it would help or hurt, I am planning on buying a 2nd gen Ram next tax time and I was planning on saving that till then.

This is some of the crap I have accumulated for those model trucks,

I - Pioneer CD Player
II - 1 set 16" ARE TailGunner wheels
III- the flowmaster
IV- K&N Filter Charger deal (14x3 element and S bolt)
V - Punch 60 AMP
VI- Kicker Competetion 10s

All I need is the truck. LOL. I pull my camper with my truck and I dont want to risk hosing it up by dropping mine and making it a little more sporty, so I will buy a nice inexpensive 2nd gen and pimp it out.

But I am curious about any power gains, I wish they would have a MOPAR PCM for the HEMI. I could only imagine the power it could open up. I put one on my 95 360 and it opened it up big time.

5.9 Auto 4x4 on 35BFG w/K&N FilterCharger-Mopar Performance PCM-true duals, no Cats- Smoked stock height Z-71s (Vortec 350) like they were pintos. LOL. Its funny when they jump off the line and you are sliding sideways on 35s and go by giving them the hand to the mouth yawn look. LOL.

I think they put those on there for sound levels. There is a little more in cab noise with the rear resonator gone. I will have to see if I can set the camera up and take it for a spin. It sounds really good in normal driving conditions. Its not too obnoxious when you get on it. There is a guy here in town with a hemi and some type of exhaust, it sounds like a pulp wood truck al the way around. Lots of splatting and burbling all the way down the road.

I had the resonator removed shortly after getting the truck, but though it wasn't noticeable enough. I recently put a performance muffler on for more sound.

I want to get exhaust but sadly it probably wont be till late this year, christmas time maybe. Sad i know. But im pretty happy with the sound of my stock exhuast for now with the resinator on. Is it worth the what $30 to get it removed? For extra sound, a little louder?

Yea my dad has an 03' Hemi Ram and people always think he has exhaust already on it. The Hemi is the best sounding stock truck in my opinion.
