Default Rear Window troubles.

Anyone ever have their windows in the back doors of the QC come out of the clips?? Both of my windows all of a sudden are out of the clips like the epoxy on both of them broke. My daughter hit the window switch the other day and i heard the motor go down then a crash as the window fell. It didnt break but it just fell to the bottom. Took the door panel off and there is just two metal clips that the window sits in, should there be epoxy there? can i use a two part epoxy to hold it in? Are those clips just supposed to be tight enough to hold the glass in? I'm lost...lol

I've not read of anyone having this specific problem. Usually it's the individual switches on the doors, not glass losing its grip.

I thought that was going to happen. Ive never heard of anyone here having this trouble. Mine is on the back doors (yes both of them) and its a standard x style regulator to take the window straight up and down and welded to the top is two black metal u shaped clips that seem to hold on the glass with spring tension. I hope that makes sense. I can try n get pics tomorrow.

Did you take yout door panels off and check it out? I just pushed the glass back into the clips and all is good so far. Just dont understand if someone trys to put the window down in the winter when its snowing and icy, they seem like they will just pop out again.

I have done the same thing. Seems now that when there is a bad storm the next day it gets hot and then the window sticks and pops out of the little clips. Guess Ill have to order up some new ones and see if that takes care of it.
