Default burning up plugs please help!!!!

ok I have a 06 ram 1500 4.7 2wd with 110,000 miles on it and it is eating plugs!
My truck started to down shift really hard when I let of the gas and would stall out when it was started after cooling down. So I took it to a shop to have the tranny looked at and they said it was fine after dropping the pan. So they changed the fluid and replaced the filters in the tranny.
well that didn't help so the truck was just running bad and stalling out a lot so i decided to change the plugs and see what that does.

WOW that fixed everything no slipping tranny no stalling ran like NEW!!!!
until a week later it slowly went back to the way it was. now when I took out the plugs they were all white and the electrode was burnt down to nothing. so I put another set of plugs in this time i used autolight copper plugs. Truck ran great again for about a week and a half now all the problems are back.

what could be burning up my plugs??

Sounds like you have a MASSIVE vacuum leak (intake manifold) tb is loose, low fuel pump pressure. If I were you, and you don't want to replace a blown engine, quit driving it until you get this piston melting situation figured out, especially with the 4.7

Sounds like you have wrong plugs. What heat range are you using?

In that case, it sounds like you have a seriously lean condition, or a cooling issue letting the heads get too hot. Which NGKs?

4.7's have an IAC valve. I'd replace that and clean your T/B by taking it off and making sure it's sealed well when you put it back on. IdleAirControl valves get carboned up and can cause stalling and irratic air/fuel mixture at idle conditions, this causes both plug fouling(Rich&lean) and stalling. It's located on the side of your T/B and has an electrical plug on the end of it.
Also, with 110kmi, your overdue for oxygen sensor replacements. You can get Bosch one's(best quality) online for under $100 shipped. I'd replace the IAC, and 02 sensors and you'll probably see an increase in mpg's as well as performance! Degraded 02 sensors can cause lean conditions.
Do those and go from there.

I would also check the fuel pressure to make sure it is where it should be. If low, it will run lean also.

Agreed. White usually means lean.
