Default Very low RPM's at idle??

Ever since this last winter I've noticed that my RPM's are dropping down to around 250 at idle. When I start the truck the RPM's are around 1000 and after it warms up they go to about 500. When I stop at a light they go to 500 and then slowly drop to approx 250. The truck doesn't seem to run any differently. During the winter the truck stalled on me twice as I was slowing down to make a turn. It hasn't stalled on me since then though. My Ram is a 2006 1500 SLT with 3:55 gears. Any ideas on what to troubleshoot first? I've read a little about cleaning the throttle body and possibly replacing the IAC, but I don't know if that applies to my year of truck. Thanks in advance!

My dad's 06 will do that to , I don't think the motor is idling that slow . I think it has something to do with the tac in the truck . My 08 idles at 500 after it has warmed up .

Oh yeah - 5.7L Hemi. I wondered if the tach was messed up as well, but thought back to when it stalled a few times. It was during cold MN mornings though.
