Coming out of the turn and giving some gas i notice it's accelerating very sluggishly, give it a bit more gas and it jumps down to first and surges pretty good. Flushed the tranny about 18k miles ago so i should be good on that, probably wouldn't hurt to do it again though
im sorry to resurrect an old thread, but did anyone ever figure this out? my 07 ram is doing the exact same thing.

My 05 daytona started this 30k ago and I was told I needed a rebuild...i laughed..my transmmision shifted perfectly except for the downshift when coming to a stop..anyway I drove it out of town for that wknd and it stopped..and stayed gone for 25k, until last week, its doing it again. I changed filters and fluid today and still have the issue..could a dirty or clogged valve body cause this and is there an easy way to clean it...i ask this because the tranny shop that did the first filter change put so much rtv on the pan, I found a small piece of it on the valve body
Someone has had to figure this issue out by now ??? Please.... I've changed the solenoid pack, valve body , input & output sensors, pressure transducer, filters twice from aftermarket back to OE and fluid.
Transmission still doesn't want to shift down when slowing around turns, bogs, slips and then bucks before grabbing a lower gear. Doesn't do it when the tranny is cold.
I'm looking for any and all potential fixes ....... Now I have 107,000 miles
