Default No Cruse over 62 MPH

Hello
My father-inlaw has a 2005 RAM 2500 4X4 whose cruse control will not work above 62 MPH. This all started after he had the front U-joints replaced. He had the mechanics search for a code but none was found. The computer was re-flashed but that did not make any difference. It works fine below 62 but not above. Any ideas guys?

ABS sensor maybe. If it is bad the cruise will not work. It is normally found on the front left wheel hub.

Welcome to the site and do yourself a favor and download the 05 Srvc Manual from the links in my signature below

If you have 4 wheel abs, it will have sensors on each front wheel. My 08 has rear abs and the cruise sensor is on the drivers front hub.
