Default Fastman TB install help

Received my TB from Dan last night, and was hoping for a quick install. I couldn't pull off the connector on top. I slid the tab over, but it didn't want to pull off easily. Any tricks, or tips? More muscle? Screw driver to pry somewhere?

Thanks.

more finger muscle.....LOL

once you slide the locking clip out of the way you simple press down on the tab and pull it off. its either an 8 or10mm socket needed to remove the tb

I had the same problem when trying to take my TB off to clean it when doing my intake. I eventually gave up so if you get it let us know what it took lol, besides more finger muscle.

Finger & what forearm muscle I could leverage into it couldn't break her free. Nice, narrow flat head screw driver did the trick. Didn't take much to slip it between TB & connector, and as soon as it slightly moved I was able to pull off.

Hey weed, I did mine when I dropped in the 08 intake. It was before I did exhaust and I could definately hear a change in the exhaust note. Was pulling a lot more air.. well at least on the 4.7. I figure the 5.7 should react the same.

I threw on an Airaid MIT at the same time. Idle and r's seemed to not chage, but def sounds like it's sucking more air & throttle seems a little crisper.

Those darn dodge connector clips are a pain. Glad you got it done.
