2008 ram 1500, leaning to the passenger's side...
Re-lighting a old thread..
I'm looking for anyone's insight.. Almost one year later..
Measurements in inches.
Front Driver- 11.75
Front Passenger - 11
Rear Driver- 15.50
Rear Passenger- 14-75
Noticed once again in a empty parking garage this morning.. I am super heated and researching as much as I can before I call the dealer after work today..
Any ideas guys would be great..

No frame lift..just a home truck.. to and from work.. just kinda curious on why the lean to the passenger side again.. the passenger side springs were replaced.. so if we were all correct it should now lean to the driver side due to newer springs on passenger.. last year the dealer did say they put it on a frame machine,, the report checked out it was sat. anyone ever hear of something like this happen on a repeated lean before?
i meant frame lift as in up in the air to work on it- such as tires or some such..
sometimes when they are lifted off the ground, and resting on the frame while doing so, the springs are misaligned when they set back down.. not common, but it happens enough to warrant asking.. if the tower bolts aren't secured properly, it can happen..
heat- and I mean real heat- causes springs to collapse... how close is your exhaust to the spring? aftermarket headers on that rig? custom piping? long shot.. but who knows...
likely, the springs were just a bad run... and you got 'em.. whoops..

Found it kind of humorous I stumbled across this thread considering my 02 ram 1500 quad cab just recently started doing this but to the driver side. I have been under it in the rain twice now and now I am realizing that it has to be rear leafs on that side.. Anybody know what the damage is going to be. I'm considering selling this truck anyways not had the best of luck with it.
Ok, I have a appointment for Tuesday morning to the dealer. I do want to do some homework first. The drivers leaf spring is cocked. It doesn't appear to match the bottom thick part of the leaf. The passenger leaf looks like its sagging like a major load with the bed empty. Almost like the weight isn't centered of the truck. I want to find out through measurements on why the passenger side looks like its taking the brunt of the weight.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to conduct some measurements with a tape measure on level ground to check this trucks frame???
