Default No Power From The THROTTLE BODY SPACER

I just put my Thrittle Body spacer in and i dont feel any more power. It is The Airade Spacer. Will the spacer not add Power if I dont have a cold air intake?

There is always a debate whether they do anything on newer engines... I say no, they don't... others swear by them.

I don't think a cold air intake would matter either way, but it couldn't hurt. I highly recommend Cold Air Intakes... but I'm not at all a fan of TB Spacers... I hear too many negative things about them.

I have the same spacer you have. I didn't notice any power difference but now my intake makes that annoying whistling sound.

TB spacers only work with a carbed or throttle body injected motor.

Well, duh! If it were that simple/easy (and cheap) to make noticeable power increases you don't think DC would do it?

You've had a relatvely cheap lesson in marketing. Don't believe the hype. As the old adage goes, "Speed costs money; how fast do you want to go?"

For what it's worth, I see that the Mopar cold air intake is listed as coming with a spacer. I'm guessing it's an outsourced "kit" that includes the spacer more for face validity ("Wow, another speed part's included") than anything else to help justify the price.

All the best.

Ain't that the truth. Speed costs money, how fast do you want to spend...It is easy to spend $15K or more when setting up a serious track car. And that is on the low end.

"And that is on the low end," ain't even the HALF of it!

As Penske said, "Racing is the sport that turns money into noise."
