Whats going on guys i just bought a Bone stock White 04 Dodge Ram Laramie just wanted to get some ideas on the cheaper way to get some EXTRA Horse power !!

Your best bet is to just start pouring through threads, but most start with the "big three" which consists of a CAI, cat-back exhaust and a tuner. All relatively low cost, simple installs and just a good place to start...

 

Welcome to the forum. 4.56 gears are a nice upgrade too.

 

Do a tune up and get an SCT tuner, high flow air filter.
Done.

It's a brand of tuner, it specifically runs custom written tunes. A plus if you are planning major performance modifications like heads and cam. I would recommend a Superchips tuner for an '04. It has pre-programmed "canned" tunes and doesn't require custom tuning - unless you plan on the going all the way with major modifications (heads, cam, stroker, etc.) then I'd opt for the SCT...
