Default Trailer Brake Control Wiring

Hi all,

Okay I found the 4 Flat Pin connector under the dash on the left side. So I can plug in my brake control. On the rear of the truck where is the harness I need to set up for the 7 Pin plug? I really don't want to drop $100 bucks to buy a harness from the stealership.

'08 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Big Horn Edition.

Thanks in advance for the help.

James

The seven-pin should be next to the tag.

If you don't want to by the harness, you will have to run your own wires from the cab to the back bumper.

Should i lower the spare tire to look for it? On my '05 it didn't have the plug in the cab for the brake control. I had to buy and run the harness for that truck.

Thanks for your help.
