after raising the front end on my 02 1500 3 inches, i have pretty bad wheel camber now. its wearing the outside of the tires pretty good. now can i take that to any local garage for an allignment or will it require something special? thanks in advance

3" is alot of level so you may run out of adjustment. But, for the most part, any garage should be able to get you taken care of.

 

Moog, ACdelco, and Raybestos all make a kit to add up to +/- 1.5 deg caster/camber. I bought mine through rockauto.com. I should get some kind of commission from them!

 

Or you could use a die grinder for free.

 

hey dirtydog ive spoken to you before about your system in your truck and I know we are both in the same area. do you recomend any shops around here?

 

When I did my lift kit and got new tires they were able to align it at the tire shop

 

ive called a few places and I have been told i would have to take it to an offroad specialty garage because the local garages have to allign to factory specs which would mean dropping the front of my truck back to factory height.

 

I dont know what kind of shops those are but the tire place I went to did it no problem. took them like 15 mins max.

 

so im going to take it tomorow morning to the shop that did all the performance stuff on my jeep they said it wouldnt be a problem but we will see how it goes
